ScriptE x Silverstack
Silverstack has added a dedicated import routine for ScriptE, closing the loop on the Silverstack CSV export we shipped back in January.
On July 21st, Silverstack's new release adds a dedicated ScriptE import routine. Metadata recorded in ScriptE gets matched automatically to the clip library by timecode or recording timestamp, with a full import preview so editors and assistant editors stay in control of exactly what comes in. Script supervisor notes travel straight into Silverstack!
In celebration of this, we've made sure to add the Silverstack export to both the daily reports menu and the report groups menu in the newest builds of ScriptE for Mac and iPad.
Full details will be live on Silverstack's What's New page and in their technical documentation once the update goes live. News and improvements.
ScriptE for iPad 3.36 and Mac 3.3.14 are available now!
ScriptE for Mac build 3.3.13 adds the Silverstack export to the daily reports menu and report groups email menu.
ScriptE for iPad, build 3.36 brings
The new Silverstack CSV output, to both the daily reports menu and report group options
A larger font size on the lined page, with spacing fixes in the header and footer
Script revision title included in the lined page footer
A smarter sort in the script importation window: your most recently added revision now sits at the top of the list
A reminder: always update ScriptE as soon as a new build drops, and keep automatic updates on for the app. For your OS, the rule is the opposite: turn automatic updates off and never update mid-production, but make sure to never be more than one version behind.
