ScriptE for iPad: File Sharing iPad to Mac
Read this first to avoid misunderstandings!
A file that has been shared can only be opened in ScriptE version 3 on a Mac or iPad.
File sharing is not a way to distribute reports. Only invite other script supervisors and assistant script supervisors to file share.
VERY IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE:
Always update ScriptE whenever there is an update available, even if you are working on a production. Users who file share using different builds of the application may experience compatibility issues. If one person is on a build that has an issue connected to file sharing, and the other person is on a build that fixed that issue, the discrepancy may cause errors when crossing between the two builds.
iPad users: Go to the App Store and check if there are new updates that you need to download.
Mac users: Open ScriptE and go to the HELP MENU in the top menu bar. Select CHECK FOR UPDATES.
Never update your operating system during a production unless you absolutelye have to (for example if you need to buy a new device and it comes with the latest operating system). This being said, we always make updates to ScriptE using the newest operating system, so we also recommend that you are never more than one operating system version behind the most curent.

Alert: ALWAYS READ POP UPS and make sure that you select the right response!
Publishing will upload changes and download updates - depending on the file size, this may take a couple of minutes. Do not do this unless you have time.
9 times out of 10, a pop-up means that what you are about to do is something you cannot undo.
YES and NO are not always in the same position in ScriptE, and this is completely intentional to avoid autopilot answers to get rid of the pop-up, but this is not foolproof. Again: ALWAYS READ POP UPS!
